Top 10 Reasons to Use COMMAND Center Sensors
10. Sensors read and record the temperature of freshly poured concrete.
COMMAND Center Sensors are embedded in your concrete placement, automatically measuring temperature at common, user-defined intervals. This temperature data is stored by the sensors and can be read and analyzed wirelessly or on a handheld device using free COMMAND Center software.
9. Sensor accuracy is +/- 1°C or 1.8°F.
COMMAND Center Sensors measure temperatures with an accuracy of ±1 °C (1.8 °F), which meets ASTM C1074 guidelines, the current ASTM International Standard for monitoring in-place concrete maturity.
8. Sensors come in standard lengths of 4 feet, 8 feet, 15 feet, 30 feet, and 50 feet.
COMMAND Center Sensors come in standard lengths ranging from 4 to 50 feet, so you can select a sensor from a range of options to best fit your project. Standard length sensors are always in stock, so your order can be placed and shipped on the same day.
7. Custom sensor lengths are available.
If your project requires a sensor length longer than the standard lengths offered, we can build to your specified length. A sensor custom-built for your project can help in special cases such as for hard-to-reach areas or for deep or large concrete pours. If purchasing a custom sensor is not possible for your project, you can also splice additional cable to standard-length sensors to achieve the length you need.
6. Sensors are highly visible in the field.
The sensors’ bright orange color ensures that they stand out against the concrete, making it easier to verify correct positioning during pouring, as well as to locate after pouring to connect to and retrieve data. This visibility greatly reduces the chance of losing or damaging the sensor cable during and after placement.
5. Competitively priced.
COMMAND Center Sensors start at just $35 and are protected under the most inclusive, iron-clad satisfaction guarantee in the industry:
Our promise: If you don’t like our equipment, send it back for a full refund! You’ll only be responsible for shipping and handling charges. We’ll cover the full price of the equipment
4. COMMAND Center Sensors collect and store both temperature and maturity data.
Instead of needing to purchase two separate sensors to measure temperature and maturity, COMMAND Center sensors can record and monitor both on the same device, reducing project cost and hassle.
3. No initialization is required.
We do all the programming, so the sensor is on and ready to go right out of the box. Interval ranges are 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 and 30 minutes to 1, 2, and 4 hours.
2. Continuous, uninterrupted data collection covered under warranty for 2 years.
COMMAND Center Sensors continuously collect and store data for two years, under warranty. Our sensors don’t turn off and will continue collecting data until the battery dies. The sensors have an internal capacity of 2,048 total temperature readings—after that, new data will continue to be collected but will roll over and overwrite the oldest data. However, you will never lose collected data if you download it before the sensor reaches capacity during each cycle. The sensors record data at common and uninterrupted intervals across all sensors. Users can easily compare data across multiple sensors at the exact same times for accurate temperature differential data.
1. Most reliable and easiest to use!
Our sensors don’t require initialization and are ready to go right out of the box. Simply secure the sensors at your job site and pour concrete over them.
You can view your data at the job site either wirelessly using a Bluetooth transmitter and our iOS app, or by connecting sensors directly to our handheld Trimble Nomad loaded with COMMAND Center software. The software and app allow you to view and examine your concrete’s complete temperature history and generate maturity and strength curves. Data can be shared instantly through email or Dropbox.
We provide the tools you need to get started: a free licensed copy of ASTM C1074, access to high-quality customer support, and even training on the COMMAND Center system, free of charge. Access to support and resources and an easily-operated system make COMMAND Center the optimal monitoring system available!
