Auction Benefiting Concrete Industry Management Programs To Be Held at World of Concrete
The Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program – a business intensive program that awards students with a degree in Concrete Industry Management – is holding its annual auction at World of Concrete. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the CIM National Steering Committee (NSC) and support the current CIM programs at Middle Tennessee State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, California State University – Chico, Texas State University, and the CIM MBA Program.
COMMAND Center concrete temperature and maturity system is proud to have donated equipment to the 2020 CIM program auction.
“The concrete industry is changing rapidly with the advancement of concrete technologies and techniques,” said Matt Pittman, COMMAND Center Product Manager. “We’re proud to support the CIM program in providing students will the skill set necessary to succeed in this industry.”
The auction will be held in the North Hall Room N262 of the Las Vegas Convention Center on Wednesday, February 5. The silent auction will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and the live auction begins at 1 p.m. Those participating in the auction at World of Concrete can register on-site, and internet bidding is available for those not attending the show.
Participants can bid on a variety of construction industry items, including COMMAND Center products, plus non-industry general interest items.
Last year, the concrete industry donated more than 150 items through the auction, raising $1.2 million for program universities. To learn more about the work of the CIM program, view the Annual Report.
